This belt is used with the SmartQ ±10kPa Differential Gas Pressure sensor (3139) to measure the expansion of the chest whilst a person breathes.
The chest belt is inflated by pumping the air bladder. Once inflated the changes in pressure as you breathe is monitored and displayed.

We used the light gates for the acceleration due to g PAG and it worked really well and I’m happy to say the Data harvest equipment gave the best result. The dynamics system has found use for the GCSE too.
