A spirometer that is portable, small, compact and needs no special gases or water. 

The hand held unit measures air flow by pressure difference. A utility in the Easysense software converts flow data to volume data. You can measure lung capacities, flow volume loops and lung ventilation efficiency.

Teaching applications:
  • Breathing patterns before, during and after exercise
  • Lung capacities
  • Lung efficiencies FVC, FEV1 and FEV6, MVV
  • Flow volume curves
  • Slow Vital capacity (SVC): The user should breathe normally 3 times and then inhale to the maximum extent of total lung capacity and then expire to the maximum extent
  • Maximal voluntary ventilation (MVV): The user should breathe as deeply and as rapidly as possible over a period of 6 to 12 seconds
 

  • Comes complete with a starter pack of 4 filters, circular mouth guard and nose clip.
  • Filters are anti bacterial and anti viral. Replaced after use.
  • One filter is left fixed as the pressure divider.
  • Not suitable for Diagnostic or medical use. For educational / demonstration use only
