Switched on ICT is a creative scheme that enables all teachers, regardless of confidence or experience, to embed ICT in their teaching through inspiring projects and topics.
Oftsed's report into the importance of ICT highlighted some key areas in which teachers lacked expertise - particularly in the more technically challenging applications such as control. Often one of the hardest parts of the ICT programme of study to deliver, when control is done well it can be one of the most engaging and enthralling aspects, and is certainly a world away from the ICT experiences a child will have at home.
