Article: Canterbury Regional CPD Day

Following the success of the 2019 event, the Canterbury Regional CPD Day is returned on 7th March 2020! All were welcome to this full – and FREE – day of training and workshops for all teachers of physics (whether a specialist or not) and trainees. The day was run, organised and funded by the IOP’s Stimulating Physics Network and Physics Partners. Data Harvest attended this day at St Anselm's Catholic School, Canterbury and we continue to support the work of The Institute of Physics in the development of educational technologies.

This year there was a range of workshops for delegates to choose from throughout the day and the opportunity to visit Exhibitor stands. We were exhibiting our latest range of rechargeable wireless sensors and data loggers and there was a chance to get hands-on with our brand-new software/App, EasySense2, which is free to download on any device. We also ran a very well attended workshop on Data-Logging for Required Practicals.

The next thing you will find us at is on
March 17th at an afternoon conference organised by the ASE focused on using maths in science at Blakesley Hall Museum in Birmingham and the link for this event is

And just after that on 19th March in Woking we shall be exhibiting and running a workshop for primary teachers at the STEM organised Primary conference  - Placing science at the centre of all learning
